The Woodbearers is a Virtual Reality Museum Experience where people can walk into and look around the painting, created by the VAST Lab and hosted by the New Mexico Museum of Art - Vladem Contemporary.

The goal of the project was to make an eye-catching, educational, and immersive experience for people to better appreciate and explore through a work of art.

The original paining is the “Woodbearers of Chimayo”, by Clark Hulings in 1974.

The goal of the experience is for people to be able to walk into and around the world of the painting, exploring the minor details.
